Tribe Drops Fifth Straight; Royals 9, Indians 4

The Royals jumped on Indians starter Cody Anderson for seven runs in 5.2 innings, and the Indians offense once again struggled to deliver timely hits in a 9-4 loss to KC on Monday night. The Indians have lost five straight.

Eric Hosmer hit a three-run homer in the first and had three hits, while Kendrys Morales also drove in three.

Carlos Santana hit a solo homer in the second and Francisco Lindor hit a three-run shot in the seventh. But the Indians left the bases loaded in the second and a man in scoring position in the third.
