Tribe Wins in Seattle in 12 After Stranding 15; Indians 6, Mariners 3

Jason Kipnis had two doubles and the game-tying sacrifice fly in the eighth inning, and the Tribe beat the Mariners, 6-3, on Michael Brantley’s bases-loaded walk and David Murphy’s two-run single in the 12th.

The Indians have won 10 of their last 13 and took three of four from the Mariners.

Kipnis almost surely will be named the American League’s Player of the Month, with good reason. His final numbers:
· 51 hits
· .429 average
· 22 extra-base hits
· 30 runs
· 17 walks
· 15 doubles
· .518 OBP

W: Zach McAllister (1-2)

L: Domonic Leone (0-4)

S: Austin Adams (1)

HR: Ryan Raburn (3, 6th inning off Happ 0 on, 0 Out)
