The Indians won their eighth in their last 10 games with a 5-3 victory over Seattle on Thursday, the opener of a four-game set.
Corey Kluber struck out 13 in 7 innings, earning his third win. In his last four starts, Kluber has posted a 1.41 ERA with 50 strikeouts.
The Tribe got on the board with a Brandon Moss second-inning homer, then added three in the fourth on Jason Kipnis’ RBI single, Mike Aviles reaching on error with the bases loaded and Michael Brantley’s RBI groundout.
