Tribe Powers Past Texas in Afternoon Finale; Indians 12, Rangers 3

The Indians scored early and often, scoring a pair of runs in the second inning before plating eight runs in the third inning, en route to a 12-3 victory Wednesday afternoon. The Indians used home runs from Carlos Santana, Lonnie Chisenhall and Nick Swisher. Cleveland banged out 17 hits, with every starter getting at least one knock.

Carlos Carrasco pitched eight solid innings, striking out eight while allowing just five hits and one run.
