The Cleveland Indians knot up their series with the Florida Marlins at two wins a piece with a strong 10-3 victory. It marks the second straight game that the Indians score in double digits after a 14-11 loss in Game 3 of the World Series.
The Indians jump out to an early 6-0 lead after three innings and made the advantage stand up behind a strong showing from rookie right-hander Jaret Wright, who improves to 3-0 in the postseason. Manny Ramirez starts the scoring in the first with a two-run home run and Sandy Alomar follows three batters later with an RBI-double. Three run-scoring singles in the third pad the lead. Alomar knocks in another run with an RBI-groundout in the sixth, Brian Giles singles home a run in the seventh, and Matt Williams clears the wall in left in the eighth with a two-run shot for the final tally of the night.
