The Cleveland Indians can thank a bug infestation at Jacobs Field for helping them defeat the New York Yankees, 2 – 1, in 11 innings, and take a 2-0 lead in the ALDS. The bugs are at their worst in the 8th inning, when a flustered Joba Chamberlain gives up the tying run on a wild pitch.

I must say, I wish that we could see some more of the Roberto Hernandez we saw in this game. Who would have expected him to turn out the way he did. I remember at the time it seemed like this would be the game that turned him into an ace for years to come.

You have to wonder, what the heck happened? Even after aging 3 years at once, he’s still technically in his prime but it seems like we’ll never see that intensity and skill again.
