Cleveland shortstop Felix Fermin ties the MLB record with four sacrifice bunts in a 3 – 2, 10-inning win over Seattle. He is the first player to accomplish the feat since another Cleveland shortstop, Ray Chapman, did it in 1919. Fermin spent 5 seasons (1989-93) with the Tribe before being dealt to the Seattle Mariners for Omar Vizquel.
