Three former Cleveland Indians players – Roberto Alomar, Carlos Baerga, and Candy Maldonado – are elected as part of the Caribbean Baseball Hall of Fame class of 2011.

The Caribbean Baseball Hall of Fame, established in 1996, honors players from the Caribbean, especially those who have played in the Caribbean Series. Puerto Rico, as the host country in 2011, was the recipient of inductees.

Maldonado appeared in three series during his playing days while Alomar played in four. Baerga led the former Indians inductees with seven appearances, while one final member, former MLB pitcher Luis DeLeon, made a dozen series trips.

The trio join former Indians players Rico Carty, Ruben Gomez, Minnie Minoso, Camilo Pascual, Orlando Pena, Juan Pizarro, Vic Power, Humberto Robinson, Vicente Romo, and Jose Santiago and former Tribe scout Winston Llenas in the honor.
