The Indians beat the Astros, 3-1, on Thursday night, to win the teams’ four-game series.
The Indians have won 8 of their last 11.
Houston led, 1-0, into the sixth, but Francisco Lindor led off that inning with a solo homer to tie it. Michael Brantley and Ryan Raburn followed with doubles, and Carlos Santana then hit an RBI triple to make it 3-1.
Cody Anderson pitched 6.2 innings and has allowed just three runs in his first 30.1 big-league innings (0.89 ERA). Marc Rzepczynski, Bryan Shaw and Cody Allen worked 2.1 hitless innings to finish off the game; Allen has pitched 18 consecutive scoreless outings and recorded his 18th save.
