The Cleveland Indians dodge elimination with three early runs in a 4-1 victory over the Florida Marlins in Game 6 of the 1997 World Series at Pro Player Stadium in Miami.
Chad Ogea allows just one run on four hits over five innings for his second win of the postseason. The Indians get to Marlins starter Kevin Brown, who allows four runs on five hits over five. Ogea helps his own cause with a two-run single off of Brown in the second. Manny Ramirez adds sacrifice flies in the third and fifth innings, scoring Ogea in the latter after his leadoff double.
