Former Outfielder Dave Winfield is elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in his first year of eligibility. Winfield, known as a five-tool player in his prime, played 22 seasons for six different teams. He finished his career in 1995 with the Cleveland Indians at the age of 43. That season he played in 46 games hitting .191 with 2 homers and 4 RBI, but was praised for his veteran leadership during the team’s American League Championship run.
