Tribe Tweets of the Week: Mini Golf and Adele

By Ryan Hohman

The Cleveland Indians love Twitter. We’ve scoured our timeline from the past week to give you the best of what the Tribe roster has to offer on Twitter. This week, Jason Kipnis and Vinnie Pestano get in a game of mini golf, Shelley Duncan sounds off on the NFL’s bounty scandal, and Chris Perez likes Pina Coladas.

Relief pitcher Frank Herrmann‘s alma mater, Harvard, will be dancing in March, and he is determined to get them in the club’s NCAA pool. He does knows Jeremy Lin graduated, right?

Every morning, closer Chris Perez logs on to Twitter and tweets his “Song of the Day.” Thursday’s tune was “Escape” by Ruper Holmes.

Shelley Duncan lets his followers know how he feels about the all the buzz around the New Orleans Saints bounty scandal.

Prior to the MLB Network’s live audio telecast of the Indians and Diamondbacks game on March 7th, Jason Kipnis promised his followers some Adele and he delivered. Watch the second baseman sing Adele’s hit song “Someone Like You”.

It was a busy week on the Twittersphere for Jason Kipnis. On Wednesday, his rendition of Adele trended, and on Thursday, he was spotted playing mini golf with pal Vinny Pestano.
