Sizemore To Have Knee Evaluated Monday

After having microfracture surgery on his left knee in May 2010, and working all the way back to play this season, Grady Sizemore is again heading to Colorado for a consultation with Dr. Richard Steadman on Monday. This time Sizemore will be looking for advice regarding his right knee.
“I think were just going out there to get another opinion on his knee,” Indians trainer, Lonnie Soloff told the media before Tuesday’s game. The Indians made no comment on the extent of Sizemore’s knee injury, but he did make three trips to the disabled list this season, twice for his right knee.
Looming over Sizemore’s knee issues are his pending $9 million team option for the 2012 season, a decision the Indians will have to make in the coming weeks.
