Future Tribe pitcher Ernie Camacho is born in Salinas, California. Camacho played for Cleveland from 1983-1987 compiling an ERA of 3.66 and 44 saves. His best season came in 1984 when he posted a 2.43 ERA with 23 saves in 100 innings of work.
