Today in Tribe History: September 9, 1964
The Seattle Post-Intelligencer reports that Cleveland GM and part owner Gabe Paul has requested economic surveys of the Seattle, WA market in anticipation of a possible Indians move to the Northwest. The move of course never happened and the team was sold to Vernon Stouffer in 1966. Paul remained GM until 1973 when he left to the New York Yankees.
