Today in Tribe History: July 27, 2007
In the midst of a pennant race, the Cleveland Indians bring back Kenny Lofton for a third go-around. They acquire Lofton from the Texas Rangers for prospect Max Ramirez. It is the second time Ramirez is traded straight up for a major league veteran. Lofton sparks the offense and the Tribe make it to the American League Championship Series before being ousted by the Boston Red Sox.
