Today in Tribe History: January 27, 1977
Former Tribe pitcher Jason Stanford is born in Tucson, Arizona. Stanford bounced around in the Indians’ organization appearing in 23 major league games between 2003 and 2007 before being released in May of 2008. He signed a deal with the Chicago Cubs but never made an appearance for them. Stanford currently works as a studio analyst for the Cleveland Indians television network Sports Time Ohio.
